Maui

We came home last Wednesday from a week in Maui.  It was an amazing trip!

After 16 hours of traveling, we finally arrived at the resort and checked into our room.  It was handicap accessible and didn't have a closet, vanity or normal shower/tub.  We were not thrilled but we were so tired we went straight to sleep.  The next morning we woke up, asked the front desk to switch rooms- they gladly did it and gave us a little upgrade!  This was the view from our room for the week.  So nice!

Old Lahaina Luau- it was a blast!  We had an authentic Hawaiian dinner and Hula Show.  It was actually very educational as well!

Our favorite dinner spot of the trip was at Lahaina Grill.  It was recommended by a neighbor and I am so glad we tried it out!

 Road to Hana.  This was not my favorite day, but Chris really enjoyed the drive and nature walks.

 It was a great trip but we were both excited to get home and see the cats :) We spent the weekend working in the yard and catching up on laundry/emails etc.  Chris left today for California for the week for work (glad it's not me)!  My family is coming to visit this Thursday through the weekend.  I can't wait!
