Last weekend Anna was baptized at Myers Park United Methodist, the church I grew up going to and the same church where Chris and I got married. It was such a special day! We were a little nervous but Anna did great! She was so cute, when Dr. Howell took Anna to baptize her she pulled his cross necklace and tried to chew on it- the whole church laughed!
Renny made her gown and it turned out beautiful! She didn't want to make it too frilly in case we have a baby boy one day :)
Of course she had to wear a bib (she still spits up so much) and she also wore the same bonnet that I wore when I was baptized. The bonnet has blue stitching which looked beautiful with Anna's eyes.
There were 3 other babies that got baptized at the same service as Anna, but we knew one of them (sweet baby Elsie)!
After church we had a lunch at Renny's house. This tree was at our wedding reception (filled with family wedding pictures- "The Family Tree"). We saved the tree and decorate it with relevant pictures each time mom hosts something at her house. It was filled with baby Anna pics last Sunday!
