Chris informed me the other day that my posts by month have been getting less and less. It's hard to find time, although I do enjoy looking back at these posts so I will try to do a better job of updating the blog over the next few months. Here's the October post :)
You already read about our Antigua trip... I have been dreaming about it ever since. Maybe we will get to go back one day!
The rest of October was pretty busy. One of Chris' favorite activities is attending the State Fair. This year we took Anna. I wasn't quite sure how this would turn out, but it was a great time! We always go on a weeknight- less crowded. Anna LOVED it! She had so much fun people watching and riding a few rides with Chris. She just seemed mesmerized by it all.
That same week we went to Phillips Farm to visit the Corn maze and pumpkin patch. Another great time. I am so glad we have a girl- it's so much fun dressing her up!
The next weekend we headed up to Boone for Anna's 1st Appalachian game! It was unseasonably chilly, but Anna still had a great time.
Must have snacks all the time...
Her first night in a hotel- loved it!
The next weekend was Hannah's wedding. It was such a fun weekend and great to see so many old friends. This was the Bridal Luncheon set-up on Friday. Beautiful!

Getting ready
The Six :)
Seriously Chris?! All I ask for is 1 nice picture...
Sunday we recovered and also carved our Pumpkin. Last year when Anna was barely even a month old we put her in a pumpkin. She didn't love it, so we tried again this year... still didn't love it...
Last year...
This year...
Crazy how much she has grown in a year!
Next up: Halloween! This really isn't one of my favorite holidays but it's so much fun in our neighborhood. We have tons of kids and always start out with a pizza party in the cul-de-sac and then move to trick-or-treating. We get a group picture before heading out from the pizza party- this year Anna was big enough to be in the picture! Anna loves a camera, so imagine tons of parents standing around trying to get their kid to look at the camera... Anna was laughing and soaking it all up.
At school with Henry and Matthew
Find the Bunny in the car :) She cracks me up!
Helping hand out candy- don't worry she didn't have any
That's a wrap on October! We've already had a busy November, so I will put up some pictures of the past few weekends soon. I can't believe it's almost the Holidays!
